DIRECTOR
SAFAA MICHAEL
Safaa Michael is the passionate founder and owner of Little Pioneers Christian Child Care. With over 22 years of experience in education, she brings a deep commitment to nurturing children’s development in a loving, faith-based environment. Safaa holds a Bachelor's degree in Philosophy from Ain Shams University, Faculty of Arts (2005), and began her career as a philosophy and psychology teacher in Egypt —serving as a Sunday school teacher for 12 years.
After moving to Canada, Safaa followed her passion for working with young children by earning her Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Development from Bow Valley College. Since then, she has continued to expand her knowledge through various professional development courses to stay current in best practices and child development.
Safaa has over 10 years of experience working as an early childhood educator in a variety of child care settings, including four years at the University of Calgary Child Care Center. For the past five years, she has successfully operated Little Pioneers Christian Child Care, a licensed family child care program in Calgary, where she provides a nurturing, faith-based environment for young children to learn and grow.
Safaa has always been passionate about building a strong foundation for children during their most formative years, believing that early childhood shapes 90% of a child's personality. She sees this work not only as a career, but as a calling placed on her heart by God—to serve children and families with love, purpose, and faith. Through Little Pioneers, she is dedicated to supporting every child’s spiritual, emotional, social, and intellectual growth.

About Bradly – Early Childhood Supervisor

Bradly has been working as an Early Childhood Supervisor since 2018, bringing a strong foundation of experience, education, and dedication to child care and development. He holds a Diploma in Early Childhood Education (2021) and a Diploma in Social Services for Children, reflecting his deep commitment to supporting the well-being and growth of young learners.
Bradly began his journey in the field at DAVAR Childcare Society in 2014 and has since continued to expand his skills through various professional development courses, including training offered by Alberta Children’s Services in October 2019.
In addition to his work in early childhood education, Bradly also holds a Diploma in Business Administration – Accounting and a Certificate in Business Management from Olds College (2013). His background in business complements his leadership role, supporting the operational and administrative side of quality child care.
Bradly is passionate about creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment where children of all ages can thrive. His goal is to contribute meaningfully to their early learning journey while prioritizing their health, safety, and overall well-being.

About Megan – Early Childhood Educator
Megan is a dedicated and compassionate Level 3 Early Childhood Educator since 2017. With 10 years of extensive experience supporting children with special needs in kindergarten and before-and-after school programs. Skilled in creating inclusive, nurturing environments that promote development, social-emotional growth, and individualized learning. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with families, specialists, and educational teams to implement tailored strategies that meet each child's unique needs. Brings a strong understanding of child development, behavior management, and adaptive curriculum planning, with a passion for fostering a sense of belonging and success in every child.
